PATRICK MONTFORD PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT
Oxnard, CA – JSL Technologies, Inc. announced today that Patrick Montford has been promoted to Vice President. Mr. Montford leads the Weapon Systems Division, which is responsible for the delivery of, Engineering, Test and Evaluation, Product and Training Support, technical and leadership and logistics support to a broad range of Navy Combat Systems and Weapons Systems Programs. The Division locations include Port Hueneme and San Diego, CA; Honolulu and Kawai, HI; Virginia Beach and Wallops Island, VA; and White Sands, NM.
Mr. Montford joined JSL in 2021 and has been instrumental in providing technical leadership to an expanding number of new Navy Programs. “We are fortunate to have such a talented and experienced leader as Patrick at JSL,” said Joe Black, JSL President upon announcing Mr. Montford’s promotion.
Before joining JSL, Mr. Montford served as the Senior Program Manager for Valkyrie Enterprises, leading technical support to the Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department and the Littoral and Strike Warfare Department at NSWC Port Hueneme, as well as in San Diego, CA, Bremerton, WA and Norfolk, VA. Prior to that, Mr. Montford worked for Saalex Solutions, Inc., where he managed a large range services contract at NAWCWD China Lake and Point Mugu.
Mr. Montford is a graduate of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in Aeronautics. He spent eight years on Navy active duty aboard the aircraft carriers USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER and USS JOHN F. KENNEDY. Mr. Montford is a native of Michigan, but for the last decade, he and his wife have called Port Hueneme, CA, home. Mr. Montford is passionate about volunteering and has spent many years dedicating his time to the Rotary Club.

CHRISTOPHER LEWIS PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT
Oxnard, CA – JSL Technologies, Inc. announced today that Christopher Lewis has been promoted to Vice President. Mr. Lewis has been a valued member of JSL since 2016, leading several important Navy Program efforts. Currently, he manages the company’s Engineering Services Division responsible for Combat Systems and Weapons Systems engineering, program management, logistics and life cycle support.
Prior to JSL, Mr. Lewis served as a Senior Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton where he worked on a business process standardization project for the Assistant Secretary of the Navy. Additionally, he served as a Security and Intelligence Analyst for Virtual Defense and Development International, Inc. and as a Business Process Management Consultant for INTEGRA Government Services International LLC.
Mr. Lewis is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Economics, and a Master of Arts in International Relations – International Economics, Latin American Studies at The Johns Hopkins University – Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. Mr. Lewis is a Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master. Mr. Lewis hales from the Oxnard area and currently resides in Woodland Hills, CA, with his wife and two young children.

Dennis Trujillo Selected to Lead Missile Range Support
Oxnard, CA – JSL Technologies announced today that Dennis Trujillo Jr. has joined the company to lead its prime contract providing engineering and technical support services to White Sands Missile Range near Las Cruces, New Mexico. Mr. Trujillo reports to Patrick Montford, Director of the Weapon Systems Division.
Mr. Trujillo has more than two decades of experience in managing and executing Information Technology (IT), space networking and test and evaluation programs.
White Sands is a detachment of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division responsible for weapons testing and evaluation. It is the largest overland test range in the United States and serves the US Army, Navy and Air Force. JSL provides engineering and technical support to the Desert Ship, a landlocked “vessel” used as a precision, live-fire test bed for various Navy weapons. JSL also supports the range’s Navy gun system test sites, radar test sites, and weapons impact test areas. JSL employees are also key participants in rocket missions that support NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory, which measures energy bursts from the sun that can damage communications systems and power grids.
Before joining JSL, Mr. Trujillo worked at WSMR for H2PC, managing IT infrastructure support across multiple complex programs for 3,000 customers. He also served as Project Engineer/Project Manager for Peraton at NASA’s White Sands complex for new and existing NASA Space Network projects, ensuring uninterrupted communications between ground stations and satellite systems; as a Systems Engineer and Test Engineer for SAIC; and as a ballistic missile defense systems engineer for Northrop Grumman Missions Systems.
Mr. Trujillo has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, an associate degree in Space Operations Technology and has completed coursework for a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction Design. He spent 20 years on active duty with the US Air Force.

Joseph Case Joins JSL to Lead Logistics Contract at NSWC Port Hueneme
Oxnard, CA – JSL Technologies announced today that Joseph Case has joined the company as Program Manager for the company’s prime contract providing logistics services to the Littoral and Strike Warfare (L&SW) Department at Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme.
Before joining JSL, Mr. Case was a Senior Program Manager for Aethercomm’s Space Products Division where he lead three programs designing and producing space-based power amplifiers and transmitters. He has also led the Supplier Program for Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems Sector and managed sustainment programs for Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems Sector.
Mr. Case reports to Engineering Services Division Manager Chris Lewis and leads on-site operational logistics support in Port Hueneme and San Diego CA and Mayport FL, as well as international support, when required, in Singapore, Bahrain; and Japan. “We are very happy to bring Joe into JSL,” said Chris. “He will be an asset to the company, our employees and our customers.”
During a 28-year career in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Case served as Department Head and Director for four separate departments. As Command Maintenance Officer, he managed over $1 billion in P-3 Orion aircraft, tools, maintenance equipment, assets and personnel across three continents. He also served as Command Tactics Officer and Senior Weapons and Tactics Instructor and planned and established an overseas base of operations to support anti-submarine warfare and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft. He also served as Instructional Manager for one of the Navy’s largest schools on the West Coast.
Mr. Case has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management and Personnel Administration from National University and is a certified Project Management Professional with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
